Sivakami Sivaloganathan

Sivakami Sivaloganathan works in the Commercial Mortgage Industry and is currently pursuing her CPA designation. She graduated with a Specialized Honours in Political Science from York University and has been volunteering with YLP since 2014. Sivakami is passionate about leadership and plans to spend many more years working with CFLI/YLP helping to empower the next generation.

Kasanja Ganeshamoorthy

Kasanja Ganeshamoorthy is a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young LLP (EY) in Toronto. She works in the Assurance Services group within the Banking and Capital Markets sector performing audits of public financial institutions. In line with EY’s mission in building a better working world, she is an executive committee member of EY Toronto’s Professional Women’s Network helping women expand their network, while promoting inclusivity and diversity. She holds her Chartered Accountancy (CPA, CA) designation and earned an honours degree in Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Sugi Ganeswararajan

Sugi believes in Nelson Mandela’s philosophy that youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow. He enjoys being part of CFLI where he can make a positive impact on the youth while gaining a new prospective of the world from the youth’s view. He earned his Chartered Accountancy (CPA, CA) designation while working at Ernst and Young LLP in the Assurance Practice. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.   

Saran Ragunathan

Saran Ragunathan is a Policy Analyst with the Ontario College of Teachers.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario.  He started his career working as a corporate restructuring and insolvency lawyer and moved to the Ontario College of Teachers to follow his passion of working in the education field.

Karthiga Dharmananda

Karthiga Dharmananda is a high school teacher with the Toronto District School Board.  She currently teaches both Senior Math and Business courses.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.  After working in India and Canada as a Business Analyst, she decided to change her career to follow her passion of working with students.

Jenopa Arulananthan

Jenopa Arulananthan is a graduate from University of Toronto with a Honours in Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political science with a double minor in French and Sociology. Jenopa has experience providing training and development to variety of demographics including children, seniors, and newcomers to Canada. Her versatile work experience includes the education, financial and government sectors. In her spare time, Jenopa enjoys reading, exploring her city, traveling and tasting cuisines from all over the world.

Aby Balakumar

Aby Balakumar is a Manager at Campbell Lawless LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants.  Aby works with a number of small to mid-sized businesses, not-for-profit organizations and individuals in providing assurance, advisory and compliance services, with a focus in tax. Through YLP, he aspires to cultivate an innovative environment for members that will allow them to attain the skills and experience to become our leaders of tomorrow.  With a hands on approach, he hopes to constantly push the boundaries of members to help them better prepare for the “real world”.

Sasileka (Logi) Jeyaraj

Sasileka (Logi) Jeyaraj is an Executive Administrative Assistant working for the Ministry of the Attorney General under the Victims and Vulnerable Persons Division specifically in the Victim/Witness Assistance Program, designed to assist the most vulnerable victims and witnesses of violent crime.  She completed her undergraduate studies in Information Technology at York University (Glendon College, Bilingual Campus).  She is a mother of three kids who is very passionate about educating the future generation and believes in creating a solid foundation for them to build their confidence at a young age.

Thamia Senthilnathan

Thamia Senthilnathan is a certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers. She holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Thamia is involved with a variety of organizations that work with children and youth. She is currently working as the Program Coordinator at the Canadian Tamil Youth Development Centre, and has continued to work with the South Asian Autism Awareness Centre for the past 3 years providing services for children and young adults with autism.

Pranavan Ganeshalingam

Pranavan Ganeshalingam is a graduate of the International Bachelors of Business Administration (iBBA) program at the Schulich School of Business at York University. Most recently, Pranavan has worked as a Senior Economist with Ontario Ministry of Finance and is now pursuing a Masters in Real Estate and Infrastructure (MREI) with the aim of making a career change. Pranavan has previously sat on various boards including the Canadian Tamil Professional Association (CTPA), where he most recently acted as Chair. In his free time, Pranavan enjoys reading on topics of motivation and leadership and is an avid networker. He enjoys playing soccer and is a car fanatic.

Saampavi Parameswaran

Saampavi Parameswaran is an Ontario Certified Teacher working for the Peel District School Board. My passion is fostering creativity and encouraging students to embrace new patterns of thought. As an Intervention Teacher in the UK, I aided gifted and special needs students in setting and accomplishing their academic and personal goals. I have also served as a youth mentor for the Big Brothers and Sisters of Canada. 

Nirojini Kathir

Nirojini Kathir is graduate from the University of Toronto - Scarborough Campus where she earned her BBA. She is a chartered accountant by profession. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and hanging out with friends and family. Nirojini is excited to be a part of the YLP where she can be a part of an environment that fosters positive growth amongst youth.

Abarna Krishnakumar

Abarna Krishnakumar is currently a BIM/CAD Designer at R.V. Anderson Associates Limited as well as a Part-Time Professor at Centennial College.  She possesses a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University and is currently working towards attaining a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Adult Education and Digital Technology.  Abarna enjoys giving back to the community by fundraising for various organizations such as SickKids Hospital, the United Way, Daily Bread Food Bank, and more.  She is a ex-Assistant Instructor with Kumon and enjoys working with children of all ages.

Thiviyaah Pushparajah

Thiviyaah Pushparajah graduated from University of Waterloo in Kinesiology, and currently doing a postgraduate certificate program in Gerontology. Thiviyaah's goal is to work towards a career in policy as it pertains to the health care sector. To enhance her understanding of health care field Thivyaah has been volunteering on weekly basis at Lakeridge Health. Through such experience she expects to develop a passion for enhancing quality of life.

Dr. Maathavan Thillai

Dr. Maathavan Thillai graduated with Honours from the University of Toronto with a degree in Bachelor of Science. He completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractor College in 2016. At the age of 24, Maathavan co-founded TamilCulture - the first online Tamil lifestyle publication. He is the Owner and Chief Clinician for Rebound Health and Rehab, and he currently sits on the board for the University of Toronto Scarborough Athletic Alumni Chapter.

  

Suba Thambithurai

Suba Thambithurai completed her honours BA in Political Science and her Masters in Adult Education from the University of Toronto. She has served as a Director on the University of Toronto Alumni Association and is an active Advisory Committee Member for the Town of Stouffville. Currently, she works for the University of Toronto's Central Finance Department as a Procurement Officer.
